Manon Hermann holds a Master in Translation from the Institut Libre Marie Haps (UCLouvain) and a Bachelor in translation-interpreting from the Université de Liège (languages: German and Dutch).

Funded by an F.S.R. mandate since January 2017, she is currently writing a thesis on German linguistics under the supervision of Sabine De Knop. It focuses on a German-Dutch contrastive analysis of verbal locutions made of motion verbs.

This study is based on the models of Cognitive Linguistics and Linguistic Typology.
