By plane:

Brussels National Airport is 11 km northeast of the city of Brussels, in Zaventem.

The easiest way to get from Brussels National Airport to the city of Brussels is by train (www.belgianrail.be). The journey takes about 12 minutes and costs 8,80€ (one way). Trains to Brussels city depart every quarter of an hour from level -2 in the main airport building. You should get off the train at Brussels North, which is the first station in Brussels city when you come from the airport.
Alternatively, you can take a taxi from the airport, but depending on your arrival time, it may  take between 25 and 45 minutes (peak time). A single ride will cost about 60€.

By metro

From the Rogier metro station: take the exit Boulevard du Jardin botanique, walk upwards on the right-hand side of the Boulevard du Jardin botanique (on the left-hand side you will see the Botanical garden), then turn into the second street on the right (on the corner, there is a pharmacy). This is the Rue du Marais. Right after the corner is the entrance to the car park and building number 119 where the conference will take place.

By train

From Brussels North (in the Rue du Progrès), you can take a taxi or go on foot. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the university building. Take the exit Rogier/Centrum and walk straight to a large square called Place Rogier. At the square turn left to the Boulevard du Jardin botanique. Walk upwards on the right-hand side of the Boulevard (on the left-hand side you will see the Botanical garden), then turn into the second street on the right (on the corner, there is a pharmacy). This is the Rue du Marais. Right after the corner is the entrance to the car park and building number 119 where the conference will take place.

 

From Brussels South you can take a train to Brussels North. This is easier than taking the metro.

By car

The university does not have any car park for guests, but there are several of them nearby:
